Mexico ranks fourth worldwide in prevalence of dengue and in just a decade this health problem grew six times in the country, said Jorge M?ndez Galv?n, a researcher at Children's Hospital of Mexico Federico Gomez.

He said that besides increasing infections exist in places where it had never before presented the transmission of the disease.

Recorded first death from dengue in the state

The Department of Epidemiology of the Federal Health Ministry reported the first death from dengue hemorrhagic fever in the state of Puebla, in addition to reporting that are 39 confirmed cases of people with this condition and 291 probable cases in the state .
