Nel periodo compreso fra giugno e agosto 2012, il Servizio Nazionale per la Salute, Sicurezza e Qualit? Alimentare del Messico ha notificato la presenza di epidemie di virus altamente patogeno dell?influenza aviaria (HPAI) A (H7N3) fra il pollame di diversi allevamenti sparsi in tutto lo stato dello Jalisco. Il seguente rapporto descrive due casi di congiuntivite in assenza di febbre o sintomi respiratori causati da una infezione da virus HPAI A (H7N3) in altrettanti soggetti con pregressa esposizione a pollame infetto.
