In Transnistria, the first case of death from swine flu
In Trans-Dniester Moldavian Republic registered the first case of death from the virus A (H1N1).
As reported on November 27 in the First Republican TV Transnistria Health Minister Ivan Tkachenko, a victim of the pandemic influenza was 80-year-old resident of the republic, who was sick for 2 weeks at home and not seek medical help.
Tkachenko said that due to the increasing incidence of infection of influenza Ministry of Health and Social Welfare PMR conducts daily monitoring of the situation in the republic. With regard to the deceased elderly man, it was found that the flu complicated for chronic lung disease, after which, taking into account age, came death.
According to the analysis of the incidence of acute respiratory diseases and influenza, for November 26 in the country for medical attention with signs of ARI asked 1,097 people and 24 people with signs of influenza.
Regarding the distribution in Transnistria the swine flu virus, then in the evening on November 27 in the Republic confirmed 69 cases of the disease.
