This seems to be the source the Vietnamese article is quoting. "Unconscious" and "in a coma" are not necessarily the same thing - the translator might be playing a trick on us. The reference to "yellow fever" is definitely a mistranslation of "jaundice" here as well.
School closed over 'mysterious disease'

TANAHUN, June 15: A school at Bajhakhet-6 of Lumjung district has been closed for an indefinite period starting Tuesday after a number of students were taken ill over a ´mysterious disease´.
Him Jyoti Primary School has been closed after around 46 students complained of headache and temperature rise, among others. 16 students were taken ill on Sunday while 27 others on Monday.
Five students are reported to be unconscious. The disease has been also seen on around 13 locals of the same village.
Health workers Kamal Thapa and Mehatar Kashi Ghale who were mobilized from Bajhakhet Sub Health Post said that some students were suffering from typhoid while others from jaundice. Thapa added that some students might be taken ill owing to viral fever.
