Kathmandu, Nov 13 (PTI) The number of those infected with swine flu has reached 78 in Nepal after 15 people were found to be infected by the deadly disease in tourist town of Pokhara today.
A private television channel quoting government officials said here.
However, no death has been reported in the country.
Last week, schools in western Nepal's Parvat district were closed after swine flu was suspected among students.
Nepal government has also issued an alert in Kathmandu and other major towns in view of the World Bank's warning that there may be winter upsurge of swine flu in the country.
The country's only international airport, Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu, has been equipped with swine flu checking facilities.
