[TD]From February to May, a total of 101011 commercial layers, 5243 commercial broilers, 446 backyard chickens, 7504 commercial broiler parents, 1028 backyard ducks, 310 commercial ducks, 43245 eggs and 19207 kg of poultry feed have been destroyed and disposed of by Rapid Response Team. Stamping out, cleaning and disinfection, sealing of infected premises in all outbreak districts have been completed. The collected samples will be sent to the OIE Reference Laboratory for the genetic characterization. Post operative surveillance outside the containment area in the respective district is ongoing.[/TD]
