Majority companies not prepared for flu
GRONINGEN - Two thirds of the Dutch companies don't prepare for the
swine flu. They have no protocol and take no action to
prevent contamination of their workers at the workplace.
This is the result of a survey of over five hundred respondents to the National Vacaturebank Tuesday presented.
Almost 70 percent of respondents said despite the growing number of cases
of the swine flu in the Netherlands not to be afraid to get contaminated doing their job.
For companies that have prepared for possible contamination at the
workplace, almost one third of workers says they will ignore the precautions.
Over 30 percent of the respondents is afraid to be infected by one of its
colleagues. The investigation involved both workers and employers.
