Second dengue fatality in New Caledonia

A dengue outbreak in New Caledonia has claimed a second life.

The territory?s daily newspaper says the victim was a 36-year-old woman who died in intensive care after suffering from a high fever for several days.

In December, a 55-year-old woman died of dengue...

A young pregnant woman does not survive the dengue virus, her baby was saved. The sad proof that the Aedes aegypti continues to plague New Caledonia despite the arrival of the cold season.

This young woman, just 27 years old, not suffering from any disease, despite his youth, it did not survive the violence of the symptoms of dengue. The CHT Gaston Bourret hospital, she died Saturday. This young woman was eight months pregnant, her baby was saved!
