Nicaragua Reports More than 1000 Cases of Dengue Fever

Managua, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina) Nicaragua has so far confirmed in 2012, a total of 1146 cases of dengue fever, reported today Health Minister, Sonia Castro, who called to redouble precautions to greater risks by rains.

At a press conference, the official ruled out the existence of an epidemic, but stressed the need for increased safety precautions for the coming months because they will be of greater precipitations.
