A 51 year-old man has died from swine flu in Cyprus, bringing the total to 9 deaths, a state health official said yesterday.
The man, who died at Nicosia Hospital on Monday, was from a high risk group and had a history of medical conditions.
Dr Chrystalla Hadjianastasiou, head of the Health Ministry?s H1N1 virus task force, gave a reminder that people ought to get vaccinated because the illness, while on the wane, may return.
