No need for travel curbs over Mers, says World Health Organisation

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said it was not likely to recommend travel restrictions now or in the near future to control any spread of Mers-coV.
The response came after reports on Wednesday said that a male Filipino nurse who travelled from the UAE to the Philippines with his family has tested positive.
Philippine officials said that the health worker was exposed to the Filipino worker who died of the Middle East respiratory Syndrome coronavirus last week in the UAE but did not attend to him. This case was the first to test positive for the virus in the Philippines.
Gregory Hartl, head of Public Relations for the WHO, said in a tweet to Khaleej Times: ?Travel restrictions would not be placed at this point, and would be very unlikely that we did in the future.?...
