Monterrey, 15 Sep (Notimex) .- The Ministry of Health in the state confirmed the death of a teacher because of human influenza, thereby increasing to eight deaths from this cause in Nuevo Leon, where so far reported thousand 70 cases of people affected.

The Ministry of Health in Nuevo Leon confirmed the ninth death from the virus of influenza A H1N1 and the cumulative number of infections since April reached one thousand 316.

According to information provided to El Universal, the latest victim is a male person of 48 years who resided in the rural municipality of Montemorelos, located some 82 kilometers south of Monterrey.

The head of the agency, Gilberto Montiel Amoroso explained that the man died on September 5 at the clinic 33 of the Mexican Social Security Institute.
