NY issues health advisory after 11 cases of pulmonary disease linked to vaping

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) - New York health officials are sending out a warning to people who use vaping products to be on the lookout for respiratory problems.
As of Friday, the Department of Health is actively investigating 11 reported cases of pulmonary disease in people using these vaping products. One of those cases has been reported in the Capital Region.
Pulmonary disease is a respiratory disease that has symptoms such as shortness of breath, headaches, and other symptoms as well.
The department has teamed up with its partners at the Center for Disease Control and are investigating reported symptoms, health outcomes, and possible causes of these symptoms.
The purpose of the advisory, which was released on Friday, is to let providers know what they should be looking for in their patients...
