The authorities in Thailand really appear to be on the lookout for suspected bf cases (good news!). At least one regional Disease Prevention and Control office has daily reports (from what I can tell) on possible bird flu infections in humans.

This is the last weekly report from the Khon Kaen office which seems to cover a large part of northeast Thailand. It gives the number of patients investigated since the 1st of something (April? the year?) 2549 (this year) to the present (April 7).

Provinces are listed in the first column:
Nongbua Lamphu
Khon Kaen
Udan Thani
Loei
Nong Kai
Roi Et
Maha Sarakham

The second column is the number of patients reported today [i.e. the day the report was written]. So, there was one patient reported on April 7 from Udan Thani province. That patient was "excluded" (bf ruled out, I guess).

There are lots of reports here -- daily & weekly reports, I suppose. All in Thai.

They have not make any update since March 29th in the last few months the updates where done daily.

No reason mentioned there for this.
