P?blico Guadalajara met the goal of application of vaccines against influenza A-H1N1 and a quarter of its population was protected against the new virus, said the head of the Department of Health Jalisco (SSJ), Alfonso Petersen Farah .
"We ran as a sector the implementation of almost a million and a half shots, with that we meet the target set by the Federal Ministry of Health for the people of Jalisco," he said.
With this coverage, Petersen said that "one in four people has now been protected from influenza by vaccination", to which must be added the large number of people who might be in contact with the virus without showing complications, immunity makes infection who have suffered slightly.
