Ottawa reports H1N1 death; city plans to close clinics

An elderly Ottawa woman has died from swine flu-related complications.
Health officials say the woman had an underlying medical condition. She died this week.
The woman is the sixth swine-flu related death reported in the capital since the beginning of September.
So far, almost half of Ottawa residents have been vaccinated for swine flu. The city now plans to shut down its mass H1N1 flu clinics at the end of the day on Saturday.
City officials say a scaled back vaccination program for H1N1 and seasonal flu shots will continue next week. Clinic times and locations will be announced in the coming days.
Residents are reminded that many doctors' offices, health care centres, workplaces and university and college campuses will continue to offer both vaccines.
Demand for the H1N1 vaccine dropt drastically in recent weeks.
