E-town schools alert parents to chickenpox cases

Elizabethtown Area School District is advising parents of children who aren't vaccinated against chickenpox to keep their child out of school through Oct. 22.

The district made the advisory after learning two students in the district came down with chickenpox, which is among the diseases children are commonly vaccinated against...

A chicken pox outbreak at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia is affecting court cases and inmate visits.

A recorded message at the detention facility says "several cases" of the disease have been reported there recently.

Inmate visits at the prison at 7th and Arch streets have been suspended to prevent future cases...
