DENGUE. hospitalizations So far this year, it reported a total of 5,283 hospitalized with suspected dengue, which confirmed 81% (4292/5283). 67% (3555/5283) are from the metropolitan area, 15% (793/5283) are the central west axis, 11% (566/5283) of the north. As for the clinical classification, among the confirmed cases, 37% (1585/4292) showed signs of alarm and 2.4% (104/4292) proved to be severe dengue. (Figure 12). 69% of hospitalizations occurred in services under the MSP and BS, 20% in the IPS and the remainder in the private sector or other services. (Figure 13) The recovery rate (patients who have exceeded the period of illness), based on confirmed cases of Dengue is 99.77%. The fatality rate is 0.23% (48/20.922) considering only confirmed cases and the mortality rate for severe dengue, considering as denominator severe cases with signs of alarm is 2.84% (48/1689 .)
