The Peruvian government revealed on Wednesday that 17 persons have died of flu H1N1 in what it goes of the year, after urging the population to come to vaccinate before the second possible wave of the pandemic with the winter arrival, informed the department of Health.

In 2009 Peru registered 9.062 confirmed cases of flu H1N1, according to official information.
