Updated 1:55 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 SPRINGFIELD ? The Clark County Combined Health District is waiting on lab tests to see if a Clark County person died of swine flu last week.
If confirmed, it would be the first recorded H1N1 flu death in the county.
Health Commissioner Charles Patterson said Tuesday, Nov. 3, that he could not release any information about the patient.
The person reportedly died last Tuesday.
Patterson said that tests for the H1N1 virus normally take about a week, but that the labs doing the work have been inundated with work because of the outbreak.
