MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 643 new COVID-19 cases on Friday as well as five new deaths, as hospitalizations rose slightly.

The total number of deaths due to the virus is now 11,410 in the province.

Of the new cases reported, 458 (71 per cent) were from people who aren't fully vaccinated, while 185 of the cases (28 per cent) were from people who received their second dose of the vaccine more than seven days ago.

There were 32 new admissions to hospitals and 27 discharges in the last 24 hours, for a net increase of five hospitalizations from the day before. In total, there are 297 people in hospital.

Of the new admissions, 21 (65 per cent) were from people who aren't fully vaccinated, while 11 (34 per cent) were from people who got their two shots more than seven days ago.

There are 86 people in the ICU, a decrease of two from yesterday...

MONTREAL -- COVID-19 cases in Quebec rose by 602 on Saturday with 475 of those not fully vaccinated.

Quebec's Health Ministry says 462 of the new infections were reported in people who had not received a dose of vaccine, 13 received one dose more than two weeks ago and 127 were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

The province added two more deaths due to the disease, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 11,412...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 612 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 430 of those not fully vaccinated.

The health ministry said 400 of the positive tests were found in unvaccinated individuals, while 30 were from those who received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 182 people were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

The ministry said 20 people checked into a hospital for COVID-19 treatment and 21 were discharged dropping the total number of hospitalizations by one to 296. Of those, 80 people are in intensive care wards, a decrease of four. ..

MONTREAL -- For the first time since the end of August, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Quebec dipped below 5,000 and the number of new daily cases continues to trend low.

On Tuesday, Quebec's public health institute (INSPQ) reported 4,907 active cases across the province. The last time they were this low was on Aug. 31 when there were 4,992 active cases.

The province also added 409 new infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 416,676 since March 2020.

Of the 409 new cases, 263 (64 per cent) are people who have not received two vaccine doses, while 146 are people who got their second shot more than seven days ago.

Two more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the total to 11,422 since the start of the pandemic; 400,347 people have recovered from the virus.

Hospitalizations remain mostly steady, with 17 new admissions and 16 discharges, resulting in an increase of one patient in the last 24 hours and a total of 291 hospitalizations.

Among the 17 new admissions, 13 (76 per cent) are people who don't have two shots of a vaccine, while four are people who got their two jabs more than seven days ago.

The number of people in the ICU dropped by six, with 72 people total in the intensive care...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 512 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, along with seven more deaths.

There's been a net increase of seven people in hospital, with three more in intensive care, bringing the total to 298 people hospitalized with the virus.

The number of active cases remains below 5,000, a level it reached on Tuesday for the first time since August. As of Wednesday, the province has 4,982 active cases.

Of the new cases, 335 of the people infected weren't vaccinated, while 20 had received one dose and 157 were fully vaccinated.

There were a total of 21 new hospital admittances due to the virus, with 14 people discharged.

Of the newly admitted, more than half, 12, weren't vaccinated, while another eight were vaccinated and one was partially vaccinated, making the risk of hospitalization for the unvaccinated 25.6 times higher than for the fully vaccinated...

MONTREAL -- Quebec COVID-19 cases increased on Saturday with 679 new cases, including 460 people who were not fully vaccinated.

The province's health ministry said 435 of those who newly tested positive were unvaccinated, 25 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 219 were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

The province also added three new deaths due to the disease, bringing that total to 11,440.

The health ministry said that 36 patients checked into a Quebec hospital for COVID-19 treatment and 28 were discharged, raising the hospitalization total to 309. Of the new patients, 19 were unvaccinated, two received one jab more than 14 days ago, and 15 were double-vaxxed more than 14 days ago.

Intensive care ward numbers dropped by one for a total of 78.

The vaccination rate for those eligible to receive a vaccine is now 86 per cent for two doses, and 90 per cent for one...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported on Sunday that 532 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, including 360 who were not fully vaccinated.

Of the new cases, Quebec's Health Ministry says 341 were unvaccinated, 19 received one dose of vaccine, and 172 were double vaxxed more than seven days prior.

The province recorded four new deaths due to the disease, and there are 512 active COVID-19 outbreaks...

Quebec registered 410 new cases and five more deaths attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic on Monday.

The number of hospitalizations related to the health crisis remained unchanged at 303. This comes after 20 patients were admitted and 20 were discharged.

Of those patients, there were 77 in intensive care units. That is a bump of one compared with the previous day...

MONTREAL -- Quebec reported Tuesday that 342 more people have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic to 420,471.

Of the 342 people who tested positive, 226 were unvaccinated, 12 received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago and 104 were double-vaxxed more than seven days ago...

... The Quebec Institute of Public Health (INSPQ) is monitoring 4,861 active COVID-19 cases, a decrease of 320.

The province said that four people have died due to the disease, bringing that total to 11,453.

Hospitalizations dropped by six after 25 more people checked in hospitals in the province for COVID-19 treatment and 31 were discharged. There are now 297 hospitalizations, including 75 people, who are in intensive care wards, a decrease of two.

Of the new patients, 17 were unvaccinated, one received a dose more than 14 days ago and seven were double-vaxxed more than seven days ago...

MONTREAL -- Quebec is reporting 458 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday as hospitalizations, including ICU cases, dropped.

Provincial data shows there were 12 new admissions to hospital in the last 24 hours and 22 people were discharged, for an overall decrease of 10 hospitalizations from the previous day. There are now 287 people in hospital, including 72 people in the ICU.

Among the new hospitalizations, eight were unvaccinated and four had their second dose of the vaccine more than seven days ago.

The majority of the new cases reported on Wednesday were from people who weren't vaccinated. Of the 458 cases, 305 (66 per cent) were among people who aren't vaccinated, nine (1.9 per cent) had their first shot more than two weeks ago, and 144 (31 per cent) received a second dose more than seven days ago.

Two more people have died due to COVID-19, bringing that total to 11,455 since the start of the pandemic...

Overall hospitalizations due to the virus decreased by 13 -- while 17 people were newly admitted, 30 were discharged.

In Quebec, health officials registered 434 new cases and eight additional deaths Friday amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The number of pandemic-related hospitalizations declined by 14 to 260. This comes after 28 patients were discharged and 14 were admitted in the last day.
