Trois Rivi?res recovering from tornado
MONTREAL ? The city of Trois-Rivieres was cleaning up Monday after winds of 130 kilometres an hour tore through the city Sunday night, an F-0 tornado causing damage to at least 60 homes.
Trees were uprooted, sheds blown over and fences knocked down when the violent wind swept through the residential area 120 km northeast of Montreal just before 7 p.m., but there were no injuries or deaths. Many, however, lost power.

Andre Cantin of Environment Canada said the tornado was a zero on a scale up to five, but still managed to create a lot of damage for a distance of about one kilometre. It was over in less than a minute, he said.
