PROVIDENCE, R.I. ? The Rhode Island Department of Health is working with two area hospitals to reach patients that it says may have been exposed to a person who likely had measles...
...The Health Department gives the following instructions for anyone who may have been exposed but has not been contacted by Monday:
If you were at the Roger Williams Medical Center?s Emergency Room between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, call 401-456-2434 or 401-456-2092.
If you were at Rhode Island Hospital?s emergency room between 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, and 3:30 a.m. Saturday, March 1, call 401-444-5600.
If you were at the CVS Minute Clinic in North Attleboro between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, call 401-222-8022, if you?re a Rhode Island resident, or 617-983-6800, if you?re a Massachusetts resident...

Potential measles exposure at two local hospitals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) ? The Department of Health is working with two local hospitals to notify patients of a potential exposure to measles last weekend.
Officials say that on Sunday, June 22nd, at about 3 a.m., a man arrived at Rhode Island Hospital complaining of fever, fatigue, nausea and pain. A Rhode Island Hospital spokeswoman says the man left ?against medical advice.?...
...Therefore, officials are contacting anyone who was at the Rhode Island Hospital emergency room on June 22 between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., or at the Roger Williams Medical Center ER that same day between 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., to ?to assess their risk and make recommendations and arrangements for vaccination, if needed.?...
