Infant diagnosed with swine flu

JAIPUR: One patient has been detected with swine flu in Jaipur.

A two-and-half-year-old-boy has been admitted to the JK Lone hospital here after being diagnosed with swine flu.

His swab reports confirmed that he was infected with swine flu on Friday. A medical and health department official said the boy is undergoing treatment and is a resident of Chaksu. Officials claimed this is the first swine flu case reported here in several months.

He was brought to Jaipur from Chaksu for the swab test, which was conducted last week.

Infant dies of swine flu

JAIPUR: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy, who was admitted to the JK Lone Hospital here with swine flu, died after 10 days of treatment.

The victim, Hansraj, was a resident of Chaksu and died on Tuesday. He was brought to the JK Lone Hospital on September 22. A day after on September 23, when his swab reports came in, it was confirmed that Hansraj was infected with swine flu.
