Food poisoning kills two girls

Jaipur, Jun 23 (PTI) Two minor girls died today and 12 other children fell sick due to suspected food poisoning in Rajasthan's Dholpur district, police said here. The children complained of abdomen pain and started vomiting after consuming ice cream bought from a vendor in Samona village yesterday, they said. The kids were rushed to Rajakheda government hospital where two girls -- Charandeyi (3) and Shivani (10) -- died today, police said. District collector R K Meena has directed officials to take action against vendors selling contaminated ice cream.PTI SDA
