Reported 15 deaths from influenza in El Salvador

August 20, 2009, 11:26 San Salvador, Aug 20 (Prensa Latina) A 15 day the dead rise from influenza A (H1N1) in El Salvador, according to the latest report released by the deputy health minister, Eduardo Espinosa .
The deaths are mostly children, pregnant women and people with underlying diseases, according to the statement.
The flu has infected 717 people in 87 municipalities, although the most affected are San Salvador and La Libertad.
Despite the deaths, the deputy minister said that the mortality rate is still below the mirror in countries with more advanced health system that the Salvadoran.
