And if you knit, here is the perfect pattern for your very own hand-knit tin foil hat . . .

Michelle writes, "365_24 I heart tin hats --or-- this is what 2 degrees in physics will buy you. I've spent the past year perfecting my Tin Foil Hat knitting pattern. Look how beautifully it repels all the electromagnetic rays! It makes the loveliest crunchy-swish sound while moving too. Soon the pattern will be available for the low, low cost of free so everyone can repel those unwanted alien beams."

The pattern is available as a free download from Ravelry (membership required, but it's free too).

Re: Russians Urged to Drown Swine Flu With Whiskey

back to garlic.

my brazillian ex-brother in law used this remedy whenever he felt a cold or flu coming on.

garlic tea:
one entire head (not clove) of garlic, mashed.
boiling water
sugar to taste

it sounds pretty dire. he swore by it.

he also had a recipe for brazillian lemonade:
a dozen lemons, squeezed, and then tossed into the pitcher
a bottle of vodka
sugar to taste
ice

it sounds pretty potent. we swore after it.

what i was wondering just now was how these two recipes could be combined to make a flu-fusion flammable infusion.

(joke) If the vodka juice consist of 60pc alc., it probable could be sprayed to burn ... :nuke:

___

Isn't boiling neutralizing some neccessary garlic compounds, compared to the raw one ...

They produce garlic drops, not sure if it could work also.
