Mother denounces omission of help after death by swine flu in Ara?atuba

Five detainees with suspected swine flu are isolated in Birigui

Two More cases of H1N1 are confirmed in Rio Preto, SP

Confirmed one more case of swine flu in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, SP

The Secretariat of Health of São José do Rio Preto (SP) has confirmed this Friday (29), a new case of Influenza A (H1N1) in the town. The confirmation was made by the Adolfo Lutz Institute of São Paulo.


The victim is a man, 34 years old, the bearer of comorbidities. He began to feel the symptoms in the last day 18, and was hospitalized in the Holy House of Mercy on Monday (25), where it remains in steady state.


With this, rises to 36 cases of the disease in this year in the municipality, being that eight of these patients died. The last death happened this Sunday (24). According to the Secretary of Health, the man had the first symptoms in the past month, was admitted to the Base Hospital, where he was in the ICU, but not resisted and died. According to doctors, the main form of contagion is by respiratory route, to inhale droplets containing the virus. As a form of prevention, it is recommended that the infected people are isolated, avoid closed places and washed their hands with soap and water several times a day, or use the alcohol gel.
