Tokyo, Jan. 17 (EFE) .- South Korea has ordered the slaughter of about 2 million head of livestock from late November when it was confirmed an outbreak of foot and mouth disease that has spread to five provinces in the country, sources officers.
Seoul has been confirmed in the last 50 days a total of 120 cases of the disease in several farms in the country despite efforts by authorities to contain the epidemic, according to government data compiled by the South Korean agency Yonhap.
