After reporting that in Sonora add thousand 464 cases confirmed Influenza A H1N1, the Health Secretary in the state, Bernardo Campillo Garcia, denied that there is alarm about the disease.

The number of deaths from influenza in Sonora AH1N1 increased to twelve, thousand and 766 are also cases of infection recorded in the State, said Jose Jesus Garcia Bernardo Campillo.

Until last week, the head of the state Health Ministry had confirmed seven deaths from this disease.

The health secretary said that the five deaths were recorded between 24 September and 9 October, but some confirmation of diagnosis was post-mortem and therefore were not released.

Three of the victims originated in Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregon and one other of Agua Prieta, and they were 19, 49, 56, 40 and 29 years of age, Campillo said Garcia.

"Almost all the deaths that have occurred are within the risk groups, and it is precisely those who are taking more tests, the treatment they are receiving input when the symptoms together," he said.

The above risk groups, which make people more vulnerable to the disease include pregnancy, renal failure, diabetes mellitus, obesity and smoking or alcoholism.

The age range most susceptible to the virus is still going from 15 to 29 years old, said the official.

Hermosillo, October 27 .- The Sonora Health authorities identified the suspension of classes in the eight school buildings in the farming community of Pesqueira, because they confirmed 17 cases of influenza A (H1N1).

The head of the Ministry of Public Health in the state, Bernardo Campillo Garcia explained that tests were conducted to 33 students from eight schools of that population and 17 were positive for disease.

He explained that children and youth affected by the disease are of primary schools and one secondary school, operating in the community, in the municipality of Hermosillo, located about 20 kilometers northeast of the capital.

The classes, which were suspended from Monday in the eight school buildings, will resume on Nov. 3, he said.

He highlighted the intensified prevention measures in that community, to prevent further infections in the community.

The Health Ministry yesterday confirmed one more case of influenza A H1N1 in Pesqueira, so the number of infected with the virus rose to 18, of whom two were hospitalized, said the agency through a statement.

In total there were three people in that community which had to be admitted to General Hospital and Hospital In tality, respectively, but a man of 40 years and was discharged.

Meanwhile, General Hospital internship is a man of 44 years, and the State Children's Hospital remains under observation less than 13 months of age, without specifying in what health conditions are.

On the causes for this sudden outbreak of influenza in the community of Pesqueira, Social Communication of personal dependence hereby informed that this point is already being investigated by staff of the Ministry of Health.

The age groups that have been most affected in this community ranges from 5 to 14 years of age, followed by 15 years to 24 years of age.

Three children in situations of gravity had to be transferred to Children's Hospital in Hermosillo of which two were discharged.

KEEP WATCH

"The last days of November will have the first shots in Mexico City, we expect that same week or next is the immediate distribution," said Campillo Garcia.

He admitted he does not know the amount of dose reaching the state, but said that staff is ready to get shots and know the procedures for implementation.
