internacional.

pandemic internationally decreed.

The World Health Organization, WHO, increased to six the alert level for pandemic influenza A in June 2009, the date from which they have detected 13 serious hospitalizations in the National Institute of Health Management Ingesa, who have died of four, as this newspaper has been known.

The first death occurred in early September, when a young woman of 28 who had a chronic illness and risk factors died in the civil clinical ICU, a woman who was over age 50 was the second in mid-November; the 24-year-income pregnant and that a cesarean section to save the life of both, was third, while identity is unknown who the fourth victim of the virus AH1N1.

The same sources confirmed that there has also been suspected adverse reactions "serious pandemic vaccine to be confirmed, with favorable, although the patient remains hospitalized in plant [date of hospital admission Dec, 9th 2009]."

In total, 63 cases have been recorded ambulatory, ie, diagnosed but not paid to the civil hospital because the presenting symptoms were mild and the medical team recommended to stay at home following treatment for influenza A.

M ? Carmen Ruiz, Director of Primary Care Nursing, believes that, so far, the vaccine has been administered to 243 pregnant women, a figure which represents a 26.47 per cent of pregnant women since the beginning of this specific campaign November 23 and 1378 users belonging to other groups at risk, a number that translates into 9.8 percent of the 14,000 patients included in this category since the 16th.

The campaign has no closing date, Ruiz said, until the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs does not value the relevance of its fianalizaci?n basis of guidelines of the Ministry of Health. For this reason, those who want the vaccine can still do so at their health center, said Ruiz.

The slowdown in the campaign
Director of Primary Care Nursing acknowledges that, after a modest start of the vaccination campaign against influenza A, "increased significantly between the second and third week, when he met the death of a person and also with the death of pregnant women admitted to the ICU. The dosing among the pregnant women "has worked well for all the time, always decreasing, until the present time" in which figures have been detected "very low".
