Malaga: a doctor of 54 years dies in the Hospital Galvez with the flu A

Valdecilla: Five people remain in Intensive Care for complications from the flu A

Five persons were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Valdecilla Hospital as a result of complications from influenza A virus, while 26 are hospitalized in plant (13 in Valdecilla, 11 in Sierrallana hospitals and two in three seas). Two people killed because of the flu at the Hospital in Jerez


The flu has claimed two victims in the province in less than a day. The first one is a 35-year-old man and native of Ubrique, which had been admitted to the Centre since December 27. The second, a woman of the same age, who went to the Center last Tuesday with high fever. A young man of 28 years, second victim to deadly influenza in Malaga

The doctor, a gynecologist, had spent two weeks in the Clinica Galvez with pneumonia and lung problems, which were diagnosed as the H1N1 virus, also known as influenza A or swine flu. He went into hospital on January 5, after four days with a high temperature. He had not had the flu vaccination...

18 patients admitted in Cantabria, nine of them in the ICU

Eighteen people still admitted in Cantabria for complications associated with influenza A, nine of them in intensive care units (ICU), according to data released Wednesday by the Department of Health and Social Services.

Thus the figure of hospitalized patients in the region, which this Tuesday were twelve. Of the 18 people remain admitted, eight are in the ICU of the Marqu?s de Valdecilla University Hospital.

This is the four patients who were already in intensive care yesterday (a one-year-old child and three adults in 47, 53 and 56 years), along with four other new cases. Three deaths in Castilla -Leon


The Department of Health has reported the death by flu to three patients that was admitted to the University Hospital Hortega - two of them - and in the complex care of Leon, all of them with "pathologies prior serious".
