Madrid / Barcelona. (Agencias).- El n?mero de fallecidos por gripe A se ha elevado a 42 en la semana pasada, seis m?s que en la anterior, seg?n ha revelado el ?ltimo informe de situaci?n elaborado por el Ministerio de Sanidad, mientras los casos registrados en Catalunya sobrepasaron por primera vez el nivel de los 90 infectados por cada 100.000 habitantes, situ?ndonse en los 92,5 y acerc?ndose as? al considerado nivel epid?mico -un centenar de casos-, inform? por su parte la Conselleria de Salut de la Generalitat en un comunicado.
La tasa estimada de gripe cl?nica ha aumentado ligeramente con respecto a los datos de la semana anterior, y se sit?a en el conjunto de Espa?a en los 77,88 casos por cada 100.000 habitantes. La tasa, seg?n los c?lculos del Ministerio, permite calcular que en Espa?a se podr?an haber producido en la ?ltima semana 34.802 casos de gripe cl?nica, de los que el 90 por ciento (31.322) corresponder?an a la nueva gripe.
En la anterior semana -del 13 al 19 de septiembre- la tasa estimada de gripe cl?nica fue de 52,35 casos por 100.000 habitantes y, a diferencia del actual per?odo, por primera vez, todos los casos de gripe cl?nica fueron de gripe A(H1N1). Todos los infectados han presentado un cuadro leve y han respondido a los tratamientos convencionales, ha precisado el Ministerio.
La tasa de letalidad es de 0,22 fallecidos por cada mil afectados de gripe A (H1N1) frente al 0,21 registrado en la semana anterior.
Respecto a la situaci?n en Catalunya, la Conselleria especific? que a pesar del incremento respecto a semanas anteriores, la informaci?n recogida semanalmente por el Plan de Informaci?n de las Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas en Catalunya (Pidirac) ha detectado tan solo "casos espor?dicos y algunos brotes locales".
