BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - A teenager, said to be, 17 or 18, allegedly passed away this morning (Sept. 28) from Dengue Fever.

Unconfirmed reports reaching this publication states that the young male, who was also an avid athlete, was admitted to the JNF General Hospital some two weeks ago with the illness.

It is alleged that he fell ill with the fever while travelling overseas for an athletic meet. It is also alleged that the young man had a tumou in his head.

SKNVibes contacted Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Patrick Martin for confirmation but was told that he could not comment on the issue, adding that "it is immoral to speak on persons' private medical situations".
