In week 50 a 72-year-old man from Stockholm died, bringing the death toll to 20

Middle-aged men overrepresented among fatal cases

16 out of the reported 20 deaths in Sweden occured among males, just four of the victims were females

10 out of 16 males were middle-aged (in the age range 45-65), while one middle-aged female died

3 elderly Swedes have died so far, of them 1 man and 2 females

2 young boys are counted among the deceased, as well as 3 young male adults and one young female adult
