Mines in Tanzania have been named as the major breeding sites for tuberculosis infection, public health experts warned in Arusha on Wednesday.
It is estimated that Tanzania handles 63,000 medical cases of tuberculosis every year but the figure apparently accounts for just 50 percent of the total reach-out number which the country is supposed to address per annum, with mining quarries remaining to be unreached areas despite producing victims of the disease at alarming rate...
