تمكن ضباط مباحث التموين بالإسكندرية، من ضبط 48 قضية بيع طيور حية وإعدام 350 طائرا حيا، وذلك في إطار جهود ضباط مديرية أمن الإسكندرية في مكافحة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور.

وتم خلال الحملة التي شملت مناطق شرق وغرب المدينة، وشارك فيها ضباط مباحث التموين والبحث الجنائي والمسطحات والبيئة والمرافق بالتنسيق مع مديرية الطب البيطري ومديرية الزراعة، إزالة 17 من عشش تربية الطيور وإعادة غلق 10 محلات لبيع الطيور الحية قام أصحابها بفض الأختام وفتحها، كما تم توعية المواطنين بخطورة المرض.
