MEXICO CITY, Aug 13 - RIA Novosti. The first fatal case of influenza A/H1N1 was registered in Nicaragua, said on Wednesday the Minister of Health, Guillermo Gonzalez (Guillermo Gonzalez).
"The first victim of a new influenza virus has become a 30-year-old woman who lived in the town of Cruz del Rio Grande on the Caribbean coast," - said the Minister.
According to him, despite all the measures taken, the woman was unable to save, because the disease has developed into the severe form of pneumonia.
A total of Nicaragua said 543 cases of influenza A/H1N1. Of these, 52% are men and 48% for women. More than 70% of sick new influenza virus from 20 to 30 years.
