Thousands of Saskatoon residents receive flu vaccine

Over 3-thousand Saskatonians received their free flu vaccination on the first day clinics were open.

The Saskatoon Health Region (SHR) says the number of vaccinations increased by 8-hundred people over the first day from last year’s clinic at Prairieland Park.

“That’s a tremendous number of people who are genuinely concerned for their own health and want to protect other around them,” said Karen Grauer, manager of disease control for Saskatoon Health Region...
