The Director of Public Health, Lanaudi?re, Dr. Jean-Pierre Tr?panier, an update, Monday, Sept. 12, the record of tuberculosis.
In all, 95 people may have been in contact with a patient with the disease during their visit to the emergency room of the Centre hospitalier r?gional de Lanaudi?re (CHRDL) in late June, were invited to a screening test.
Initial results revealed that 18 individuals were exposed to the bacteria. As provided in the protocol, those who tested negative were bent at a second examination, eight weeks later. The record made public by Dr. Trepanier is now state of 19 positive tests.
