Five new measles cases confirmed in Swansea Valley

A FURTHER five cases of measles have been reported as part of a clustered centred on a Swansea Valley school.

According to Public Health Wales the measles outbreak at Cwmtawe School in Pontardawe is now under control.

However some cases have been reported in the wider community...

Measles jab Around 30,000 teenagers have not yet been vaccinated against MMR across Wales

Parents are being urged to have their children vaccinated against measles following a new outbreak in south west Wales.

At the end of December there were 44 cases in an outbreak first reported as being linked to four schools in the Neath and Swansea area.

But Public Health Wales said five new cases in the area in the last 11 days are not linked to that...

Four new cases of measles at Gower College Swansea Tycoch campus

A CLUSTER of four confirmed cases of measles has been reported at Gower College Swansea.

The cases are at the Tycoch Campus and come less than a week after Public Health Wales warned of a community outbreak in the area...

Experts from the North East Public Health England (PHE) Centre and NHS England are investigating a cluster of measles cases.

Six cases have been confirmed in people who live or work in Gateshead and Newcastle. A number of other possible cases are being looked at.

About 2,000 children aged 2 to 11 in the area have not had an MMR jab...
