Черкасская область получила ?Тамифлю?

Черкасская область сегодня ночью получила 5260 упаковок препарата ?Тамифлю?, который используется для лечения гриппа A/H1N1 Калифорния. Этот препарат поступит исключительно в государственные больничные учреждения области и будет использоваться для лечения больных гриппом. Об этом сообщил начальник Главного управления здравоохранения Черкасской облгосадминистрации Юрий Кувита.

Он сообщил, что 1300 упаковок препарата ?Тамифлю? уже отправлены во все районные больницы Черкасской области. По словам Кувиты, вся лечебная сеть области готова к принятию больных гриппом, пишет УНИАН.

Напомним, сегодня ночью в международный аэропорт ?Борисполь? из Швейцарии прибыл самолет АН-12 с грузом противовирусного препарата ?Тамифлю? в количестве 300 тыс. упаковок. Правительство намерено в ближайшие три недели закупить еще 700 тыс. упаковок препарата против гриппа ?Тамифлю?.

На сегодня, 2 ноября, в Украине от гриппа умерли 67 человек.

В медицинские учреждения за помощью обратилась 191 тыс. украинцев, из которых 7,5 тыс. госпитализированы.

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) -- At least 67 people have died in an epidemic of flu in Ukraine that has infected 255,000, the country?s first deputy health minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets said.
A total of 15,000 people are being treated at hospitals, Lazoryshynets said at a press conference in Kiev today. The country has sent suspected swine flu samples to the U.K. for testing, he said, declining to say when results are expected.
Lazoryshynets said the government has registered 22 cases of suspected swine flu. He declined to comment on which influenza strain is responsible for the deaths. Ukraine has asked the U.S., the European Union, NATO and neighbors for anti- flu drugs. Poland and Slovakia sent protective masks and Roche Holding AG?s drug Tamiflu to Ukraine after President Viktor Yushchenko said the country couldn?t fight an outbreak of pandemic influenza alone, a statement from the government said.

Health ministry: Sixty-seven people die of flu in Ukraine

Sixty-seven people have now died of flu and acute respiratory infections in Ukraine, according to First Deputy Health Minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets.

He said at a briefing on Monday that 255,000 patients with flu and acute respiratory infections have been registered so far, and 15,000 of them in hospital, including 170 in intensive care units.

Lazoryshynets said that the Health Ministry had bought 67,000 doses of Tamiflu and received another 60,000 from the World Health Organization.

Moreover, 300,000 doses of Tamiflu were delivered from Switzerland to Ukraine in the early hours of Monday, on the basis of agreement reached between Foreign Minister Petro Poroshenko and Health Minister Vasyl Kniazevych. This amount will be enough to treat patients for a month, he said.
