CIUDAD JUAREZ, Chihuahua .- The death of a child of three years because of aggressive bacteria keeps a group of doctors investigating the case of IMSS.
Although at first thought he had died from an unknown virus, the health authorities of Chihuahua ruled it out.
The little suffered from skin rashes, which was supposed to rubella or measles, but studies showed that was due to atopic dermatitis of unknown cause for a complication of a respiratory illness, said Hector Puertas Rincones, director of the Jurisdiction Health II.
Rodolfo Guerrero Zamora Gael, three years old, died the morning of January 5 in the General Hospital No. 6 to the IMSS.
After death, we generated a panic among the residents of the child's family in colonial Chihuahua, to the west, so that the authorities took precautions and interned at four friends of the child, aged two, six, eight and 10 years of age, because they observed skin rash and cough.
However, this week were released and found no public health risk.
The four children remained isolated one day as a precautionary measure, according to relatives.
"He followed up the case, he was made an epidemiological surveillance, prevention became a fence (the colony). This is a situation that occurs sporadically," said Gates Corners.
Reported that little is lab tested saliva, nasal samples and blood tests, whose cultures were negative for measles or rubella.
