Unknown fever kills four in Birbhum

Bolpur, March 2: Four persons have died in a Birbhum village in as many months from an unknown disease, creating panic among the residents.
Margram resident Noor Mohammad Sheikh, 28, who died last night at Rampurhat subdivisional hospital, had been admitted with high fever, nausea and dark spots all over his body.
The remaining three victims, all women, had shown similar symptoms. This morning, the district health authorities sent a team of doctors to Margram to collect blood samples.
The doctors collected blood samples of 150 villagers, all of whom either had fever or had come in contact with Sheikh. ..
