Imperial Valley Woman may have possible case of Cholera
Nov 10, 2011
By: Mauricio Marin
Imperial County -- Imperial County health officials are investigating the possible case of a Cholera infection of an Imperial Valley woman.
According to health officials, Lillian Arguilez was hospitalized and quarantined last week at Pioneers Memorial Hospital.
County officials have not confirmed she got sick from cholera because they are still awaiting lab test results.
A positive confirmation may not rise the level of a public health threat because officials say a person who tests positive for Cholera cannot contaminate others.
