Should the US government shut down as Mexico did in order to reduce the rate of infection? One computer model http://rocs.northwestern.edu/projects/swine_flu/ predicts up to 7900 by 05/17/09. If the rate stays the same (which would be alarming) then the infected could be 63,000.
The emergency country estab. team would decide what they will do.
DISCLAIMER: "That is an personal speculation from actual worldwide un-closures only!
The real country moves would be taken from the dedicated country bodies and in line with the actual country plans.
The same answer could be speculated for other countries on the same base."
Here estimating only a probability that it would be done, by watching the recent give up to stop all the passengers from Mex., and after the re-opening of the already closed schools touched by the infection, that would be highly improbable - maybe until and IF things realy goes in a more bad direction.
Than it could be imagin that some partly moves in that direction would be probably done, but than would be probably late to make a big diference.
They could suggest for the infection afected areas the use of gloves in megastores/etc., if they think that this would be an important way of spreading, but they don't.
Nor they suggest the use of masks/respirators.
As usualy, those things would be suggested when people starts to catch the illness as many as flies.
To not mention the proverbial aversion of the population to take as true and dangerous things without an awareness which is plunked onto streets megaposters, and at the large media TV circuits main news!
