Worker At Texas Hospital Exposed 700 Infants To TB
An employee of a Texas hospital exposed more than 700infants to tuberculosis, health officials said Friday.

EL PASO (September 19, 2014) More than 700 infants at an El Paso hospital were exposed to tuberculosis by an employee infected with the disease, public health officials said Friday.

Initial reports did not indicate that all 700 were infants.

The city's Department of Public Health initially released a statement Friday that said more than 700 patients and about 40 employees at Providence Memorial Hospital were exposed from September 2013 to August by the employee, who worked in the hospital?s nursery...
