Andy Irons Died of A Heart Attack At Age 32
Andy Irons, the consecutive 3 time world surfing champion (2002-2004), died after a heart attack he suffered after about 30 hours of taking cocaine. This was revealed by his family after the autopsy and toxicology report results.
Regarded as one of the world?s greatest competitive surfer & big wave riders, Irons was found dead in his Dallas hotel room in November. At that time it was reported that his death was a result of the severe tropical disease ? Dengue fever.
The medical examiner for Tarrant County, Texas conducted an autopsy and dengue fever as a cause of his death was ruled out instead the results show that he died from a cardiac arrest which happened because of a main heart artery getting severely blocked. The statement was issued by his family on Wednesday. His family further told that he suffered from typhoid five years ago that may have played its role in damaging the heart muscle...
