As of June 8 2009, a total of 2,446 laboratory-confirmed cases of H1N1 flu virus have been reported in all provinces and territories in Canada except Newfoundland (see Table 1 below).

CANADA - Epidemiological Update As of 8 July, 2009, a total of 9,429 laboratory-confirmed cases of Pandemic (H1N1) 2009, including 878 hospitalizations and 37 deaths, have been reported in Canada from all provinces and territories.

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is committed to sharing information about Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus cases with Canadians. Confirmed cases are posted Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 16:00 EDT.

As of 15 July, 2009, a total of 10,156 laboratory-confirmed cases of Pandemic (H1N1) 2009, including 1,115 hospitalizations and 45 deaths, have been reported in Canada from all provinces and territories.
