1. Till date, samples from 199184 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories and a few private Laboratories across the country and 45861 (23.0%) of them have been found positive.
2. All 30 cases reported during the week are indigenous cases.
3. Three Deaths (Rajasthan) have been reported during the week.
4. *The cumulative total has been updated as the fresh line list of laboratory confirmed cases and deaths have been received from health authorities of the respective states. These cases & deaths have occurred earlier.

A total of 35 fatalities were added - 28 for Rajasthan of which only one was recorded by the state in the past week, and 7 from Maharashtra, all of which occurred prior to this past week. These two adjustments bring central figures in line with State figures.

Even though this has become a biweekly report, the numbers released ignore the "missing" week; The total number of cases in the past two weeks has increased by 21 - 2 in Delhi, 2 in Karnataka, 4 in Tamil Nadu, 8 in Maharashtra, 2 in Kerala, 1 in Punjab, 1 in Jammu & Kashmir, 1 in Gujarat.
